deeDee Clark is the Founder and Owner of Healing Reins.

Dee is a faith based, licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has been a horse woman most all of her life.  She knows first hand the healing presence of the horse and feels blessed to be able to facilitate a process of healing with horses for others.  She specializes in work with trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss and life transition issues.  Dee works with individuals, couples, families and groups and seeks to help empower people to reach the potential they were created for.  She is a graduate of Denver Seminary and is certified by The Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute in The Treatment of Trauma and is trained in Attachment – Focused EMDR with the Parnell Institute.

Dee was certified through EAGALA in 2002 and since then has combined her lifetime love and passion for horses with her mental health training to help make Equine Assisted Therapy a model of dynamic change, hope and healing for people.  Dee also maintains a traditional private practice working with people in both Washington State and California.

P1020385_2Emrey Hombach  has been riding horses most all of her life and has competed locally and nationally through the Paint and Pinto circuits throughout the country.   She has won several world titles and multiple championships locally.  Horses, children and teens have always been a passion of hers, so the ability to partner in facilitating a process of healing and helping is a privilege for her. Emrey became involved in Equine Therapy work in 2010 and was certified in the EAGALA model in 2011.  Emrey partners with Healing Reins as an Equine Specialist and she and her horse Beau bring so much wisdom and joy to the team!

Caryn

Caryn Wright is an Equine Specialist with Healing Reins and has been a passionate horse woman for as long as she can remember.  She has enjoyed teaching lessons and working with a variety of horses over the past decade.  She has a special place in her heart for rescue horses and horses who need a second chance in life.  Because of the healing role horses have played in her own life, she believes in their gifts of empathy, compassion, intuition and honesty and is grateful to be able to partner in helping to facilitate healing in the lives of others.  Caryn works with Coffee Oasis and has a heart for ministry.  She is a great asset to the Healing Reins team and we are grateful to have her working with us!

Scarlet Cramer is a seasoned Marriage and Family Therapist with over twenty years of experience in working with individuals, couples and families.  Scarlet has a collaborative and relational approach to her therapy and particularly enjoys working with adolescents and their parents in navigating the transitional stages of development.  She is drawn to Equine Therapy due to the experiential nature of the client/horse relationship and has a deep appreciation for the healing nature of the horse.  Scarlet is excited about new possibilities that lie ahead for her as a new EAGALA certified member of the Healing Reins team.  Scarlet also has a private practice at the Shepherd’s Center for Counseling.  When not in the office or arena, Scarlet is out enjoying the beauty of the Northwest and loves to spend time painting and enjoying her role as mom and grandma!

Neil Sampson is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and finds Equine Therapy work to be amazing as he sees that horses have the ability to reveal to us our most inner most thoughts, in a pure and innocent manner.  Neil currently works as a  Social Services Supervisor with Franciscan Catholic Health Initiatives and partners with Healing Reins on a temporary basis as a licensed therapist.
